How we Filter Contact Email Data by Job Title, Location, Company Size and Industry

How Does it Work?

Our system draws contact data from LinkedIn, that’s how we’re capable of identifying the job titles and companies. The system then appends other information, including the direct business email address of the contact, this is done through SMTP verification.

Job Title

Our job title filters allow you to target specific titles within an organization, this is by far the most popular filter available. This ensures that your message is reaching the correct people within the company.

To give you an example, if we have a customer that wants to search for a contact with ‘Procurement’ in their job title, we can do that and we can include the management levels that they are interested in targeting, like Manager, Director, Head, VP and C-Suite. We can also include positive and negative keywords, this will work if a customer wishes to include or exclude a particular type of Procurement, e.g; ‘IT Procurement’ or ‘Systems Procurement’.



Location filters let you target contacts in particular countries, states or cities. This type of filter is also very important and key in all of our email marketing campaigns. This is especially useful for local businesses or those targeting a certain region.

For example if a customer would like to only target prospects in the United Kingdom and Germany, we can filter that. Much like job titles, we can include positive and negative regions, we can include United Kingdom as the target location but exclude a particular region, for example; London or Manchester.

Another example is if you are a US-based company and you only want to target contacts in the United States, you can use this filter to do so.

Company Size & Industry

We are also able to filter the company size, this allows you to specify the number of employees at a company. This is great for businesses that want to target small to medium sized businesses (SMBs) or large enterprises. For example; we can select the following 51-100, 101-200, 201-500 and 501-10000 to ensure only companies of this amount of employees are included within the data.

The industry filter is perfect for those who want to target a particular industry or keyword. This could be companies in the same industry as your business.

Another popular filter is technologies, for instance if a business is known to be using a particular technology, or even has the suitable tag within the meta of their website, we can filter based on this information too.
